    Akron - Erie Railroad   Morgan Library digital photograph 45. The name Scott is on the lower right corner of this image. There are numerous people and workers standing on this temporary bridge across the Erie Railroad in Akron, Indiana. Several men, a team of horses and a string of box cars can be seen. The bridge spans three sets of tracks. The concrete bridge abutments are in place. Snow is on the ground. This image probably dates around 1909-1910.

    Chili? - county road north of Chili   Morgan Library digital photograph 328 (M.D. McCarter Photo). This is believed to be an image of a Winona Railroad bridge over a county road north of Chili, Indiana.
    Chili - Vandalia Railroad (PRR)   Morgan Library digital photograph 380 (M.D. McCarter Photo). The Vandalia Railroad (Pennsylvania Railroad) would not permit the Winona to cross at grade level. The Winona constructed this bridge in order to pass under the Vandalia. A county highway bridge can be seen in the background.

    Milford - over Turkey Creek   At the south edge of Milford the Winona turned west. The piers of the Winona bridge are still visible from the bridge on old State Rd. 15.
